THE MAGDALEN CHAPTER HOTEL

The second of Swire's Chapter Hotels, The Magdalen Chapter, is set in one of the most iconic buildings in Exeter, The Edwardian West of England Eye Hospital. In keeping with the vision of Chapter Hotels, the hotel is locally inspired with its own unmistakeable personality. The historic building has been sensitively restored and offers a stunning mix of old and new. Almost every one of the 59 rooms is different, with many overlooking the walled garden and over to the Haldon Hills. The bar with curated library connects to the glass fronted lounge overlooking the contemporary gardens and terrace. Within the lounge, guests find comfort on furniture including Hepburn Sofa by Matthew Hilton.
